As a keen follower of effective diets, proven workout routines, and exercise, I often have people asking me “what is the best weight-loss workout plan?”
This is a very common question, and as a weight-loss enthusiast the answer I have always given is there is no one plan that is better than the rest.
True, some are more effective, but it always depends on the area of your body you are targeting, how much weight you want to lose, and how quickly you want to lose it!
You could have the most effective weight-loss plan for getting beautiful, toned, washboard abs. But if the problem you suffer from is that your thighs are rubbing together when you walk, what good is that?
So if you have a lot of excess fat around your arms, the best weight-loss work out plan for you might be different to somebody who wants to lose weight around their waist.
Types of Workouts for Target Areas of the Body
If you find your extra flesh is around your mid-region, you might want to find a workout plan that targets this area, including exercises such as:
Generally, the ones that work the muscle in that area of your body.
Similarly, if you find you have problems with ‘bingo wings’, the best weight-loss workout plan for you would be one targeting your arms. Exercises involving:
- resistance bands (also great for other body parts)
Just be aware you cannot preferentially lose fat from a specific part of your body just by exercising it. Fat loss is systemic and determined by your genes, hormones, blood chemistry and other factors.
But what you will do is improve the muscle tone in the areas you exercise so they look better, regardless.
Of course, there are work-out plans that are designed to give your whole body a boost and lose weight all over, but once again, depending on your build, the time you have available, the equipment you have, all this must be considered when selecting the right work-out plan for losing weight.
What is right for one person, might just not work for another. We are all different.
Remember though, the best weight-loss workout plan anybody can ever go for, is the regular one. Regardless of which work-out plan you decide to go for, make sure that you have:
- the determination to lose the weight
- the mental attitude to get to your target weight
- the stamina to see it through to the end
Because everybody is different, each weight-loss plan must also be different, but making sure you stick to whichever you choose, is the best weight-loss workout plan anybody could go for.
